Hôtel Chibougamau

I stopped over on a business trip here. Quirky little hotel right in the middle of Chibougamau. The rooms feel very efficient for single occupancy, might feel crowded for two though. It was just fine for me. They take hygiene seriously, blankets and linens are wrapped in plastic film to show they're not used. Comfy bed, and while the room wasn't perfectly silent, I've definitely experienced worse. Staff were efficient and professional. Would happily stay again!

Definitely a unique hotel. The outside reminded me a bit to a ‘Gasthaus’ and this uniqueness transitioned to the inside. The room layout to a while to get used too. My bathroom was very small but had a step in shower. However, the sink was in the sleeping room. The bed was comfortable. My room faced the main road but it closed for an event. So I can’t comment on the noise level from traffic. Bonuses: the gym was roomy and well stocked. There is a restaurant and microbrewery on site. The menu options were limited but included interesting options. Try the rotating orange wine. My Rating: '4 Stars' = Very Good, '5 Stars' = Way Above Expectations

I went to this motel for a professional purpose. I choose the economic room for the best price. The service was A1, room cleanliness A1 and it directly in middle town. I really was surprised for the price. They also have a spa, a gym and a restaurant bar attached to the motel. Very nice.

a big thanks to the nice people (forgot to ask there names ) even in the middle of a cold night, they welcome me with there warmth and accommodating smiles. Rooms are nice and the bed is comfortable.

Look, I have to admit that I have not stayed here yet due to. Force Majure, act of God, weather delays of . But the staff have been extremely helpful in cancelling and rebooking. Also assisting with Taxis. Have been very prompt and proactive with information by emails.

Staying there 8 nights for work. Rooms is clean and the bedding/bed is really comfortable. Good wifi. Room looks renovated recently. Water pressure good and stays constant temperature (hard to find in small hotels). Small fridge and microwave was a good addition for inexpensive meals. Had to empty it (mini bar items) before using it. Small washroom with sink in main room. Quiet. Main foor room flooring cold but room is perfect. Bring slippers or stay on the 2nd floor if that's of bother. Front desk friendly. Hottubs perfect temperature, clean and not busy. Glad I picked this hotel.

Great service and great location. We brought a group of students on a trip and the hotel was so accomadating and helpful every step of the way. Lisette at the front desk was so helpful and made our stay great. The building might be a bit older, but it's clean and comfortable and great value for your money.

My room was quiet and comfortable. It's not large but has all the basic amenities. My room and that of my colleague looks relatively recently renovated. Not as fancy as the price would suggest but then, it is a northern town with limited other choices. Right on the main Street it's easy to access services downtown.
